Early Access · Windows 10/11 x64 · free to use

A new publisher trips two Windows security prompts — see Getting past the Windows prompts. Every build is checksummed below.

  • Windows 10 1809+ or Windows 11, x64
  • WebView2 runtime (auto-installed if missing)
  • No admin rights needed · no background services

Other platforms

Getting past the Windows prompts

Foldvia is a brand-new publisher, signed with our own company certificate (Laventis Strategic CO., LTD.), so Windows shows two cautionary prompts. Neither is a virus warning — they appear for any new app that hasn’t built download reputation or bought an expensive EV certificate. Here’s how to pass each:

1 · Browser download warning. Edge or Chrome may say the file “isn’t commonly downloaded” or “could harm your device.” Click the (or the ∧) beside the download, choose Keep, then Keep anyway.

2 · “Windows protected your PC” (SmartScreen). On first run you may get a blue screen with no obvious Run button. Click More info, then Run anyway (bottom-right). A standard Windows permission (UAC) prompt may follow — Foldvia needs no admin rights and installs no background services.

Why it’s safe: every build is checksummed (verify the hash below), the code is signed so any tampering breaks the signature, and the Microsoft Store build (coming, Microsoft-signed) will skip these prompts entirely.

What “Early Access” means

Foldvia is fully usable today and actively developed. Expect frequent, visible improvements — at most one update a day, plus the occasional emergency fix. Foldvia’s built-in Check for updates keeps you current with one click; nothing installs silently.

Free to use. Want multi-type deep clean, full-text search, similar-image detection and reversible Archive? See Foldvia Plus →

Verify your download

Every build is checksummed. Compare the SHA-256 against the release vault above before installing — honesty is the product, so we make verifying easy.

PS> Get-FileHash .\Foldvia_0.7.15_x64-setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256
PS> Get-FileHash .\Foldvia_0.7.15_x64-portable.zip -Algorithm SHA256

Microsoft Store installs (coming) are signed and verified automatically by Windows, so this step is only needed for the direct installer and portable builds.
